Poet, Literary writer and Editor, Creative director and Teaching artist 

Lee Mokobe is a black trans masculine poet, literary writer and editor, creative director and teaching artist from Cape Town, South Africa. Mokobe is the youngest TED Fellow, 6x TED Speaker and 3x writer contributor and Brave New Voices Champion 2015. His works have been exhibited and published in 5 continents named Harvard School of Education, The University of Calcutta and even in the NSC South African curriculum.

He has partnered with Adobe, Sundance, Twitter, Instagram, Gucci America, Hulu Pridefest as a human rights activist and performer. His work has been published alongside Barack Obama and Harvey Milk. Mokobe is the founder of Vocal revolutionaries, a non-profit that teaches digital media and social justice to township youth, in creating the world’s next creative and social justice leaders. He is currently working as a trained Sangoma and an Adobe creativity scholar studying film-making.
